Hi Rita and Bruce,
I’ll write a formal letter later, but just want you to know even though I may not have seemed excited yesterday (move-in day), I was just exhausted. The place is gorgeous and feels structurally solid.
The 4″ floors are beautiful, and the cable rail allows us to see the gorgeous view below.
Rita in particular, I know the work you did the last few weeks was pure drudgery. Filling holes and cleaning is NOT fun.. not when you have the talent to do so many more things. I did not get to see the Owner and Installation Manual until after you left and love the personal touches on the cover/backside. Very nice. Managing contractors can be challenging too.
I spoke with Sid briefly yesterday and he asked him if he was excited about a summer without building noise on both sides of him. He said “We didn’t even notice the construction. Rita has a great crew and it was not a problem at all.” He loved stopping by every few days to “inspect” the progress.

From our first meeting, the level of mutual respect and trust was ‘ingrained’. Mr. Giese and his lovely wife Rita came to my home, over 700 miles from the job site, just to sit down with me and review my plans, my wishes and my dreams for my lovely new home in Washington.
The fact I lived so far from the new home site kept me from traveling to ‘check’ how the process was proceeding. I found that Mr. Giese and his wife were thorough and meticulous about every detail throughout the whole project. I was kept informed almost on a weekly basis as to the various challenges and issues that normally come with such a large project. The Gieses honored all my wishes. They were also comfortable making suggestions that might enhance the home. My very favorite being the ‘dumb waiter’ that truly has been appreciated throughout the ‘move in’!
Today, I feel that I have the very finest built home I could possibly have, and I owe this to the expertise of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Giese and their fine team of subcontractors and suppliers. I absolutely recommend Giese Construction Services to anyone considering a builder for their ‘dream” home.
